How long will I stay smooth?

When you shave you are only taking hair even with the skin. Therefore it comes back above the surface very quickly. Waxing, however removes the entire hair follicle from the root. If you are looking for longer lasting results, waxing is the better method. Exactly how long the hair stays away will vary by person.

Hair grows in 3 cycles. When you first start waxing, it will last about 2-3 weeks. But if you continue to wax every 2-4 weeks and get the hair that was growing underneath the skin at your previous wax it can be gone for up to six weeks. This isn't always the case for everyone, or every area. Waxing an area frequently over time can also damage the hair follicle, and cause it to stop growing hair.

What do I do in between my waxes?

• Do not use tanning beds or be overly exposed to the sun for 24-48 hours before or after a wax. It can cause irritations or burns.
• Make sure to exfoliate the area to be waxed 1-2 days before (If appointment is made a few weeks ahead of time it’s good to start exfoliating then)
• Wait for 48hrs after waxing and lightly exfoliate the area every day until your next wax.
• Moisturize daily (except for the day of your appointment)

               Make sure hair is ¼ inch or longer
