A Note From Lisa....Giving Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our wonderful clients of LCS. It warms my heart to think of how my business has changed and grown the past year. Last fall I started looking for a new space for our salon. I never could have imagined the support I have received from all of you! This season you are one of the things I am most thankful for.

I am very proud of being a small local business for 23 years. It is with great pleasure I give salon tours and have clients remember my little tiny room where your feet would almost touch the wall. Also, the many that followed me when I had the studio spaces in my home and our jam-packed space at Discovery Park. Boy, have we grown! We are a business that has been built on word of mouth and I thank you for your support and referrals.

It has been a dream of mine to have a salon full of estheticians sharing my passion of educating women and teens! Our move downtown has increased the amount of clients we treat through facials, make up and proper skincare. It is an honor to have you in our space and I am so thankful for your smiling faces!

I must also give a big shout out to my staff! They are a group of dedicated women that will go above and beyond for each and every one of you. I am thankful every day for the skills they bring to LCS and cultivating the vision I have as we grow. It gives me great pleasure to have to wait my turn at the sink to wash implements, or realize that we are two loads behind in folding laundry. It is in these moments that I think back warmly to where I started and the amazing place I am in now.

It is incredible to see skins and lives transformed under our estheticians special care.  I love to watch our make-up artists at work in the reception area. It is a pleasure to share our make-up tips, help you get ready for a special event, or teach your teen to cover their acne. This staff has helped grow our LCS family through their excellent care and I am so appreciative of each and every one of them!

Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you all have as much as I do to be thankful for this season.

A client reminded me of something I once told her many years ago: “…my job is really like getting paid to do my hobby.” Thank you all for being a part of it!
