Eyelash extension FAQs

Are eyelash extensions safe?

Yes! Eyelash extensions will not damage your lashes or cause them to fall out. We use the highest level of sterilization available for your protection.

How do eyelash extensions work?

Lash extension are synthetic lashes, applied individually to your natural lashes to make them look longer, fuller and thicker. We will apply 30 – 80 lashes to each eye, depending on whether you want long, glamorous lashes or natural everyday lashes.

How long do they last?

Eyelash extensions can last up to six weeks. They fall out as you shed your natural lashes, which is a normal occurrence. Keep a full look by filling in every two to four weeks. Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling on your lashes, and don’t use an eyelash curler.

Can I swim with eyelash extensions?

Yes. Just be sure to avoid getting them wet for 24 – 48 hours after application, so the glue can set. Then dry them with a towel after swimming.

Can I wear mascara?

The best part of eyelash extensions is that you don’t need to wear mascara! But if you want a little extra oomph, avoid oil-based mascaras, which weaken the bond. Instead, use a water-based mascara.

What’s the difference between mink and synthetic lashes?

Synthetic silk lashes give a full, thick look. Mink lashes are thinner and softer. Mink is recommended for women with very thin natural lashes, which cannot support the weight of synthetics. Lightweight mink lashes are great for extended wear, and they also look very natural, which appeals to women who want fluffy lashes.

Synthetic lashes are great for special occasions, like weddings, photo shoots or vacations. You can also wear them as everyday lashes, but they are not as light, soft and comfortable as mink.

Don’t worry if you’re unsure about which eyelash extension option is best for you. We’ll consult with you to determine which thickness will give you the results you want, and fit in with your lifestyle.
